Cesaral Anti-G

€15.00

The antigravity is a classic gimmick that should not be missing from anyone's magic kit; especially those who do children's magic. With it you can perform the effect of water not falling from a bottle turned upside down.

The Cesaral Anti-G has important advantages over the old gimmick:

§  The Anti-G is thinner and fits perfectly into the mouth of the bottle. It has a much better grip and won't come loose even if the bottle is moved.

§  The mouth of the gimmick is conical. This allows the toothpick(s) to be inserted without having to feel their way in. Searching for the entrance by trial and error greatly reduces the magical strength of the effect.

§  The conical shape of the gimmick's entrance means that when it is in place there is no “flat top” visible from certain angles, making it much more discreet and invisible.

My favorite effect: The magician brings three children on stage. He asks one of them to stand next to him, and the other two to sit below them. One sits right at the magician's feet and the other at the feet of the child next to the magician.

The magician takes out two bottles filled with water and lets the child next to him choose one of them. He then asks him to do the same as him. The magician drinks a little water to see if the child is paying attention and does the same. Then he slowly starts to tilt the bottle until a few drops fall on the head of the child below him. This already starts to heat up the environment... He puts the bottle upright again and covers it with his hand. Holding the bottle covered with his hand (and with the gimmick on), he begins to tilt it until it is completely upside down. The magician makes sure the child does the same. Now, very slowly, the magician concentrates on the water and removes his hand that is covering the bottle. The water doesn't fall! The child tries to do the same, even with the magician's encouragement, but the water spills out. The magician goes one step further and shows him what he will have to do next, if he concentrates well: he takes several toothpicks and sneaks them one by one through the opening of the bottle that is upside down. The toothpicks go up the bottle creating a magical sensation.
