Effect:
A wooden pencil is placed on the edge of a table, on top of a glass, or in the hand of a spectator. The magician can then move a few feet away. After concentrating and pretending to be making a great mental effort, the pencil moves and finally falls! A spectator can then pick it up directly and see that it is normal and works. It can even be used for the rest of the show.
