Main effect: 

The magician gives a deck of cards and some envelopes to a spectator. He asks the spectator to take a card, memorize it, and put it in an envelope. The magician invites this person to offer the rest of the cards and envelopes to another spectator who can do the same: take a card and put it in the envelope. This process can be repeated as many times as desired. At the end, the last spectator keeps the rest of the cards until the end of the effect.

After this selection of cards the magician says:

"You may be wondering why I asked you to secretly select a card, and why you put it in the envelope. Well, tonight I'd like to take a survey about what you think of me, my experiment, and my show. To make it easier for you, I've prepared a rubber stamp with some survey questions. Simply stamp the questionnaire on the envelope, and mark one or more of the options offered."

The seal could have these options (or whatever the magician wants):

□ There's no way the magician can figure out my card!

□ If he can, he must be a psychic!

□ If he can, he's too dangerous to be on the loose.

□ You're an amazing magician! Contact me at tl: ___________.

After filling out the survey, the magician or mentalist is able to name, one by one, the cards chosen and kept in the envelopes by each of the spectators.

You can vary the presentation so that your business card is printed on the envelopes. When the effect is over, you can keep the envelopes with the magician’s contact information, and they can be a great souvenir of the evening.

Extra effect – Impossible Journey: A card freely chosen and kept by a spectator in an envelope, travels to an empty envelope that has been visible in the middle of the stage the whole time.
