“Real time” means that when the Play button is pressed the audience will hear a recording describing events that happened just a few moments ago (for example the revelation of several cards that have just been selected, the number on Die, the number on a calculator, a randomly chosen flag, etc). Each recorded prediction starts with a Newspaper Headline Prediction and then continues with one or several real time predictions.

“Multi user” means that you may have the tape(s) delivered weeks before the show to different people, and each tape when played will reveal information according to the magic elements selected by each audience member (cards, die, calculator, and so on).

Effect example:

Three audience members that received a sealed envelope a month ago are asked to go up on stage.

The magician asks the first volunteer to take out their tape and put it in the player. He then asks the audience member to choose from a die, a deck of cards, or a calculator. Let’s imagine they take the deck of cards and they then pick one or several cards. The audience member presses the play button and everybody can hear a news headline relevant to that very same day and then something like: “I will try to influence you to choose the following 3 cards. The two of hearts, three of spades and the last card chosen will be the ten of diamonds.”

The magician then asks the second volunteer one to take out their tape and to put it in the player. He then asks the audience member to take either the die, the deck of cards, or the calculator. For example they now take the calculator. The magician asks him to make any operation with the calculator, for example, adding the dates of birth of several members of the audience. The audience member then presses the play button and everybody can hear another relevant news headline and after that something like (for example): “I predict that you will choose the calculator to add some numbers, and that the total will be made up of the following numbers: 4, 7,8, 3, 9, and the last number will be 8”.

The magician now asks the third volunteer to take out their tape and to put it in the player. He then asks the audience member to choose from the die, the deck of cards, or the calculator. Let’s imagine they now choose the die, so as not to repeat what the previous volunteers did. The magician asks them to hide the die in their hands with any number they choose on the top. This time, when the play button is pressed, everybody will hear another relevant news headline and then something like: “I will influence you to choose the die, and I will also influence you to put the number 4 on the top”

Important points:

• It runs on either batteries or the mains.

• Operates as a normal tape player both before and after the effect... and may be thoroughly inspected before and after the effect!

• The delivered tapes are write-protected. The audience can check if they want that there is no way to record on those cassettes.

• When the prediction is playing, the tape may be paused, stopped or restarted. The tape may be rewound and played back again many times.

• The spectator may remove the tape and keep it as a souvenir.

• Can be used in close-up or stage magic.
