Example 1:

An audience member is invited onto the stage and blindfolded. The magician then presents a deck of cards featuring pictures of various individuals, including girls, boys, old men, old women, toys, cartoon characters, and more. The audience is asked to pick a card, keeping it a secret. With a touch to the head of the blindfolded volunteer, the magician declares, "I am going to control your mind and your voice. Please tell us what day it is today."

As the volunteer starts to speak, a voice completely different from their normal one emerges—an old man's voice. When the magician instructs the audience member to reveal their chosen card, it becomes apparent that the selected card features the face of an old man.

Example 2:

In this example, the magician showcases the magical abilities of their young assistant. The magician begins a story, but encounters an unexpected issue when the microphone starts malfunctioning. Seizing the opportunity, the magician enlists the help of the young assistant, instructing them to point their index finger at the microphone and concentrate to fix it using their magical powers.

Despite the magician's attempts to use the microphone again, the sound becomes even more peculiar. It dawns on the magician that they forgot to utter the magic words while pointing at the microphone. The child then points their finger, reciting the magic words, and miraculously, the microphone is fixed—purely by magic! This scenario sets the stage for a delightful and humorous routine.

Example 3:

In this scenario, the magician once again highlights the enchanting abilities of an audience member. The magician initiates a storytelling session and invites a volunteer to join them on stage for assistance. The chosen child is asked to read the story aloud but in a loud man's voice. Despite their best efforts, the attempt falls short of sounding convincing.

Seizing the magical moment, the magician declares that a little assistance from their magic wand can make all the difference. The child is instructed to touch their mouth with the magic wand and then speak into the microphone. Miraculously, their voice transforms into a deep man's voice! This opens up a realm of possibilities, allowing the same child to read a story with various characters, each portrayed with a distinct voice, adding a delightful and versatile dimension to the performance.

Example 4:

In this imaginative scenario, a young boy is brought onto the stage to assist the magician. After handing him a microphone for everyone to hear, the magician engages in a casual conversation, asking about the boy's name and other details to create a sense of normalcy.

The magician then introduces a magical twist, claiming the ability to turn the boy into a robot with a simple snap of the fingers. Initially skeptical, the boy laughs, but to everyone's surprise, when he uses the microphone again, his voice has transformed into a robotic tone. To add to the mystery, the magician might reveal an electronic circuit board loaded into the boy's pocket or attached to his back during the conversation.

Building on the enchantment, the magician decides to take it a step further. With another click of the fingers, the boy is playfully transformed into a girl, and to everyone's amusement, his voice now convincingly sounds like that of a girl. Every word he utters carries the essence of a girl's voice.

Bringing the performance full circle, the magician concludes by promising to restore the boy to his normal self. With one final click of the fingers, the boy responds, and his original voice is magically restored, leaving the audience entertained by the delightful and whimsical transformation.

Applications in Hypnotism:

At a specific time during your hypnosis show the performer is able to condition a hypnotized audience member to change his voice: man to boy, boy to man, man to woman, woman to man, man to robot, and so on. You could perform a comedy regression routine taking them back to their childhood. The possibilities are endless.
